Tng Ah Yiam is currently the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saigon Co-op FairPrice Limited Liability Company, where he leads the company’s strategic and operational efforts.

He is a veteran of NTUC FairPrice, having held various senior leadership roles over more than 40 years, including Group Chief Procurement Officer and President (Group CEO Office) of FairPrice Group.

In his career with FairPrice, he has extensive experience in key functions ranging from store operations, purchasing, merchandising, trading to supply chain management.

Ah Yiam was awarded the PBM (The Public Service Medal) and BBM (The Public Service Star) for over 20 years of continuous service to the community.

Melvin Yong Yik Chye is Assistant Secretary–General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Director of the NTUC’s Care Division which administers the NTUC-U Care Fund, a charity that supports lower-wage union members and their families. The Care Division also oversees the development and implementation of the Progressive Wage Model in eight sectors, including Cleaning and Security.

Melvin is also Executive Secretary of the Built Environment and Urban Trades Employees’ Union, and Adviser to the Attractions, Resorts and Entertainment Union, and the Housing and Development Board Staff Union. He serves as a Board Director on the Housing Development Board.

As a passionate advocate for workplace safety and health, Melvin is a member of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Council and chairs the Council’s Engagement and Outreach Committee. He is also a member of the Multi-Agency Workplace Safety and Health Taskforce, established to strengthen Workplace Safety and Health ownership and culture, particularly in high-risk sectors. As a champion for consumer protection, Melvin was elected President of the Consumers Association of Singapore in 2021 and re-elected for a second term in 2024.

He is an elected Member of Parliament for the Radin Mas Single Member Constituency and chairs the Tanjong Pagar Town Council since 2015.

Shareef is the Managing Director of Training Concepts Pte Ltd, an International Strategic Consulting and Training Business. Shareef has worked in senior General Management positions for a number of local and international companies in the hospitality and human resource development sector and has more than 35 years of experience in industry.

He is active in the co-operative movement and serves as the Chairman of the Board of TCC Cooperative Society Limited, Singapore's largest Credit Cooperative Society. He is also the Chairman of Secureguard Cooperative Society Ltd.

Shareef has extensive international training & development experience and has conducted developmental programmes in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Brunei, Uganda, Kenya, Pakistan, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Taiwan, and India.

Shareef is actively involved in a number of private educational institutions. He serves on the Governing Council of the Management Development Institute of Singapore as its Secretary General. He is the Chairman, of the Board of Directors for MDIS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and MDIS Unicampus (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. He is also the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors for Service Quality Centre (Singapore) and Vice-President of Service Quality Centre (Indonesia). He sits on the Board of Directors for MDIS@Tashkent, Uzbekistan and MDIS@Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Dr Lee Yik Voon is a Family Physician and General Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in clinical work and has an additional Graduate Diploma in Mental Health. He currently runs his own private medical practice.

He is currently Advisor to GP+ Co-operative. His previous appointments included Immediate Past Chairman of GP+ Co-operative, Past President of Singapore Medical Association, working committees of Ministry of Health Singapore, Past Secretary-General of the Medical Association of Southeast Asian Nations (MASEAN), Regional Medical Adviser for two major multinational pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Lee believes that transformation of healthcare will benefit his patients. He actively educates his patients to empower them to make the right choices in their lifelong journey of health and wellness.

He believes that the Co-operative Movement will not only benefit him and his family but also his colleagues, the wider medical fraternity, his patients and our community at large.

Derek Gooh is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for FairPrice Group and Group CISO for NTUC Enterprise, the holding entity of a portfolio of Social Enterprises under the Labour Movement. Previously, he served as the Director of the Govt CISO Office at the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech), where he led and supported the network of CISOs across the Government, enhancing their effectiveness through various initiatives.

At GovTech, he also served as Ministry CISO for the Prime Minister’s Office Cluster and the Ministry of National Development. During his tenure with the PMO Cluster, he ensured cybersecurity readiness for the 2020 Singapore General Election. At the Ministry of National Development, he played a key role in developing the 'Data Privacy and Protection' section of the Code of Governance for Town Councils.

Before joining the public service, Derek spent a decade at British Petroleum (BP), progressing from a Risk Consultant to the Regional CISO for BP's Oil Trading business. Prior to BP, he gained diverse experience as a software engineer at the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), pre-sales engineer for a cybersecurity startup, and risk consultant at Arthur Andersen, as well as being part of the founding team for the National Healthcare Group's IT Security function.

Derek holds a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and an MBA from the University of Manchester. In his free time, Derek enjoys gardening, cycling, and relaxing with Netflix shows or books.

Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari is the Chief Executive and Vice-Chairman of AUPE Credit Co-operative Ltd and the Chairman of AUPE General Services Co-operative Ltd. He is also a member of the National Trades Union Congress Central Committee (NTUC) and the General Secretary of the Amalgamated Union of Public Employees (AUPE). Sanjeev is also currently serving on the CPF and PUB boards. He has over 20 years of operational experience across different functions in various organizations that he has served.

Coupled with the necessary academic including a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Sanjeev’s experiences over the span of his career enabled the application of knowledge to ensure sound decisions, proper governance and leading teams through successful projects to achieve positive and impactful changes in the roles he undertook. He advocates for the betterment of work, welfare and work prospects for public officers and workers at large.

Sanjeev is also a strong believer of positive change, lifelong learning and leveraging of technology to streamline processes, raise efficiency and effectiveness.

Mike Chian has been an active and passionate leader of the Co-operative Movement for more than a decade.

He was a manager with Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF) where he worked with different co-operative sectors and industry partners in the areas of marketing, training, business development, campus and youth initiatives. He conducted public awareness talks and events that raised the profile of SNCF and the Co-operative Movement during his tenure. He was also the advisor and worked closely with the Registrar of Co-operative for the formation of new co-operatives.

Currently, he is the Secretary of Love Empowered Co-operative (LECL). He has helped LECL in the areas of strategic planning, corporate relations, and organisational restructuring to empower children with challenges. He is also a Committee Member of Silver Caregivers Co-operative to drive awareness about caregiving for the elderly.

Mike holds both an MBA and a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a member of the NUS Multi-Purpose Co-operative.

In his professional job, he is the General Manager and heads the Training Centre related to a Public Listed Company on the Singapore Stock Exchange Main Board.

With his experience and a strong believer of co-operative principles, Mike looks forward to working closely with other co-operatives and public agencies to develop a stronger Co-operative Movement in Singapore to Do Well and Do Good together.

Evelyn joined Seacare in 1996, and currently holds the positions of Director of Group Corporate Business Development and Managing Director of Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd. She is also the Chairman of Seacare Compass Blairgowrie Limited and sits on the Board of Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd, Seacare Foundation Pte Ltd, and Seacare Compass Ilfracombe Limited.

Seacare Co-operative, through its subsidiaries, offers a diversified range of services such as medical, property development and management, and hospitality. Seacare Manpower specializes in providing HR solutions.

With over 25 years of experience in the HR industry, Evelyn possesses a deep understanding of human resources management, payroll administration, and employee engagement. Throughout her professional journey, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to upholding best practices, ensuring compliance with labour regulations, and fostering positive work environment for employees.

Her wealth of experience equips her with the skills necessary to drive efficient HR and payroll operations while maintaining a focus on employee well-being and organizational success.

Leslie Liang is an experienced strategy executive specialising in corporate growth and transformation of Consumer Technology ecosystems. Leslie is currently the VP of Strategy at NTUC Enterprise, leading group-wide strategic planning, growth initiatives, and business transformation across its multi-industry portfolio.

Before joining NTUC Enterprise, Leslie was part of the corporate strategy team at Grab, where Leslie supported the company’s public IPO listing, core business growth, and key regulatory and product strategy initiatives across the region.

Noorul Hassan is a Board Director of the Singapore Government Staff Credit Co-operative Society Limited, where he has served in various leadership and governance capacities since 2016. He previously chaired the Society’s Audit and Data Protection Committees, contributing to its governance, oversight and compliance functions.

Beyond the credit sector, Hassan serves as a Board Director of Premier Security Co-operative Ltd, bringing cross-sector experience and a broader understanding of Singapore’s co-operative movement.

A Senior Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors, Hassan brings experience in corporate governance, strategic leadership, risk oversight, stakeholder engagement and organisational management. He believes strongly in accountable and responsible leadership and is committed to strengthening governance, collaboration and the long-term sustainability of Singapore’s co-operative movement.

Raen Lim is the Managing Director for Qualtrics in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and is responsible for driving revenue across the entire region.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning sales, market and business development, as well as channel recruitment and enablement, Raen is passionate about using technology to help organisations move forward in their digitalisation journey and realise outstanding business outcomes.

Prior to joining Qualtrics, Raen worked at Splunk where she was responsible for driving revenue growth across key markets in various regions. She has also worked at Oracle Corporation, building and growing the cloud applications business across Singapore and ASEAN markets. Raen also served as Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Salesforce, scaling the business in ASEAN by many folds through creating and executing a strong go-to-market strategy, recruiting strong teams and developing the channel ecosystem. Prior to that, Raen had held various sales positions at Symantec Corporation.

Raen holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, majoring in Marketing, from Nanyang Technological University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with Distinction from University of Manchester. Raen also completed executive programmes with IESE Business School and University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

She is an avid sportswoman, with interests in strength training, running and hiking. She also enjoys reading and listening to music.

Thian Ai Ling was the General Manager of My First Skool by NTUC First Campus, a network of 162 childcare centres in Singapore, and afterschool, a school-based student care service in primary schools offered by NTUC First Campus, aimed at meeting working families’ demand for reliable, quality after-school care. At My First Skool, Ai Ling led and developed systems for business effectiveness, quality assurance and practice leadership.

Before joining the pre-school sector in 2015, Ai Ling contributed 18 years of service with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and had last held the posts of Cluster Superintendent and Principal with MOE. She holds a Master from Columbia University (Teachers’ College), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education with the National Institute of Education and a BA (Honours) with the National University of Singapore. She was profiled by the three-time Pulitzer Prize winner and NY Times Columnist, Thomas Friedman in 2011 for spearheading thought leadership in education in Singapore. Ai Ling was a recipient of Singapore’s National Outstanding Youth in Education Award in 2001 and the Lee Kuan Yew’s Valedictorian Award at the 2008 National Institute of Education’s Leaders in Education Programme. She was a proud recipient of the Top 50 Women Education Leaders Award in 2018 and 2019.

Between 2021 to 2025, Ai Ling was an Associate Lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Since 2026, Ai Ling is also an advisor to Illuminate Futures, a not-for-profit social enterprise supporting student development through key educational transitions.



In 2026, she has taken a meaningful career break to care for her aged family members. This period has deepened her empathy, patience, and perspective - qualities that continue to strengthen her leadership and interpersonal approach.

Ang Hin Kee has been appointed CEO of the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF) since 1 November 2020. At SNCF, he drives programmes and initiatives to build stronger and more resilient co-operatives so as to better serve its members and the community.

He is concurrently serving in the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) as its Assistant Director-General, and Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance. He joined the NTUC in 2006.

Hin Kee was also an elected Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency from 2011 - 2020.

SNCF is the apex body of Singapore’s Co-operative Movement, and secretariat of the Central Co-operative Fund (CCF). Formed in 1980 with the aim of championing Singapore’s Co-operative Movement, the apex body represents majority of co-operative members in Singapore through its affiliated co-operatives.
