The Annual Co-operative Leaders’ Conference (ACLC) is set to take place at Bangkok, Thailand from 31 October to 3 November 2026. And we are thrilled to welcome industry experts from the global co-operative movement to ACLC’s biggest stage!

What is ACLC?

The annual flagship conference is organised by the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF) and will call on co-operative leaders from different co-operatives in Singapore to take bold action to revitalise and enable the century-old Singapore Co-operative Movement.

Last year, ACLC took place in Shenzhen, China and SNCF brought along 140 co-operators from 30 unique co-operatives.

The theme for ACLC 2026 is “Grow our People, Strengthen our Co-op” which highlights the salient role people play in shaping strong, resilient and future-ready co-operatives.

Who are the speakers?

This year, our lineup is curated to bridge industries and interests, spanning from local speakers on mentorship and artificial intelligence to international representation from the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions.

Here is the line-up of who is attending this year:

Elenita San Roque, CEO of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU)

Segment: Stewardship in Action

Elenita San Roque has been the chief executive officer of the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) since 2014. ACCU is a regional network for financial co-operatives, representing over 50 million members from over 35,000 credit unions across 23 countries.

Elenita oversees strategic leadership, organisational development, advocacy, member engagement, education, innovation, global partnerships, financial stewardship, and promoting excellence within the credit union movement. Her role is essential in advancing ACCU's mission and fostering the growth and sustainability of Asian credit unions.

Among her  achievements is developing 35 Credit Union Business solutions, which address credit unions' challenges in serving their members more effectively and maintaining their core purpose.

Under her leadership, ACCU launched the Development Education Program, certifying over 1,300 leaders who promote community, cooperation, and social responsibility within credit unions.

She also earned the International Credit Union Development Educator designation from the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and received the 2016 Athena Award from WOCCU's Global Women's Leadership Network. She serves on the Board of Directors of the International Raiffeisen Union and is a Raiffeisen Ambassador. She is a Certified Public Accountant and completed the Women's Executive Leadership Program at UC Berkeley.

Darryl David, Founder & Principal Consultant of CICA Associates

Segment: Mentorship: A Virtuous Cycle

Darryl David is a third-term Member of Parliament in Singapore. He was first elected in 2015 and is the Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Education.  

In a career spanning more than 20 years of corporate leadership, he served as the CEO of St. Joseph’s Institution (International) and as Deputy Director with Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore.  He also spent 22 years in the media and communications industry where he was noted for his work as a presenter with Asia-Pacific broadcaster ESPN Star Sports and Singapore’s Mediacorp TV.

Darryl has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (National University of Singapore) and an MBA from Nanyang Technological University.

He is the author of Leading with Peace and founder of CICA Associates, which delivers leadership and professional development based on the Leading with Peace principles.  CICA Associates also conducts bespoke training programmes and executive coaching. 

Asst Professor Fa Liktiswat, Assistant Professor of Thammassat University

Segment: Co-creating Social Impact Across Generations

Assistant Professor Fa Likitswat is a landscape architect and academic at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Architecture and Planning, specializing in ecological landscape design, peri-urban spatial planning, and community-driven climate resilience. She is a researcher at the Thammasat University Research Unit for Nature-based Solutions in Water Management and serves as the Principal Investigator of the Pathum Thani Agrihood Model for the project "An Innovative, Multidisciplinary Approach for Greywater Reuse to Enhance Wellbeing of Informal Housing Resettlement Communities".

Supported by the Lien Foundation and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, she collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team, academic partners, the Pathum Thani Housing Co-operative, and local residents to co-design and co-develop decentralized greywater treatment systems, turning local wastewater challenges into opportunities for vibrant public spaces, urban agriculture, and improved quality of life for vulnerable resettled communities.

Melissa Swee, Senior Manager at the Registry of Co-operative Societies

Segment: Revised Code of Governance for Co-operative Societies: Stronger Governance, Better Social Impact for Members

Melissa Swee is with the Registry of Co-operative Societies, where she has been involved in various initiatives relating to co-operative governance. These include the 2016 revision of the Code of Governance for credit co-operatives, as well as the governance guides on internal controls, investment management and loan management issued in 2018. More recently, she worked with SNCF on the Governance Initiatives project, including the revision of the Code of Governance for co-operatives.

Ankush Samant & Juliana Goh, NUS-ISS

Segment: AI & Innovation Design Workshop for Co-operatives

Ankush Samant is a Principal Lecturer and Consultant at NUS-ISS specialising in digital innovation, design, and emerging technologies. With more than 15 years of international experience across the globe, he has led user experience, service design, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives for both public and private sector organisations. Ankush's expertise spans design thinking, service design, user experience, GenAI-powered design, AR/VR experiences, and strategic innovation.

Juliana Goh is also a Principal Lecturer and Consultant at NUS-ISS with more than 20 years of experience in data-driven, human-centered innovation, digital experience design, and business transformation. A specialist in customer experience (CX), user experience (UX), service design, and Design Thinking, Juliana has delivered over 50 Design Thinking engagements worldwide, helping organisations innovate and transform customer experiences.
