Have you ever tried running blindfolded? Neither have we, but you can give it a go at inclusive sports co-operative Runninghour’s annual flagship run ‘Run for Inclusion’ (RFI), happening on the late afternoon of 7 November 2026 (Saturday) at HomeTeamNS at Bedok Reservoir.
2026 marks RFI’s 12th edition and will bring able-bodied runners to run alongside persons with special needs (PWSNs). The theme “Togetherness” is a powerful rallying call for Singapore to promote integration and nurture a more inclusive Singapore.
RFI 2026 will see the return of its signature blindfolded run. Here, sighted participants are blindfolded and guided by a fellow runner, offering them a glimpse into how persons who are visually impaired move through everyday spaces.
True to its co-operative spirit, Runninghour Co-operative has also unveiled a new relay race category, akin to those seen at HYROX, where teams of four can each take on a two-kilometre leg, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on participation and teamwork.
The co-operative will also provide 1,000 complimentary registration slots for PWSNs, together with one accompanying caregiver per PWSN, for RFI 2026.
Participants may opt to run 4km, or one round around Bedok Reservoir (S$38); 8km, or two rounds around the reservoir (S$58). Relay race will be priced at S$88 per group.
