The AI Grant under the SCM 10-year Transformation Roadmap helps co-operatives overcome common barriers to AI and enables them to build capability and scale with confidence.
Many co-operatives (co-ops) recognise the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), but funding constraints, lean manpower, and uncertainty about which AI tools best suit their needs often make it difficult to get started.
Under the Operational Excellence & Scale-up pillar under the Singapore Co-operative Movement 10-year Transformation Roadmap, the AI Grant provides practical and structured support for AI adoption.
The grant supports co-ops at different stages of readiness through two tracks:
- “Go Broad” helps co-ops build AI capability through training and adopt enterprise-grade AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini for everyday work.
- “Go Deep” supports co-ops that are ready to pursue deeper AI integration and workflow transformation.
